Round 3 of the F4 UAE Series is complete here in Dubai – another intense weekend of work that allowed us to keep building on the progress made in the previous rounds.
As often happens, the races were heavily influenced by several Safety Car phases, which made it difficult to find rhythm and consistency. That said, I felt some positive signs throughout the weekend, especially in terms of driving and overall feeling with the car, confirming the step-by-step progress we’re making together with the team.
In Race 2, I was able to gain several positions from my starting place. In Race 3, during an overtaking move, I had a slight contact with another driver which caused some minor damage to the car. Unfortunately, after that incident the balance of the car was off, and I couldn’t find the right feeling again – I was lapping over a second slower than expected, and the pace just wasn’t there anymore.
Now we have a one-week break, which will be useful to analyze all the work done so far and prepare for the final round of the F4 UAE Series, scheduled in Qatar.
We keep working with focus and determination – the progress is there, and we’re heading in the right direction.
