Beco
Bernoldi

My name is Beco Bernoldi, officially Bernardo. I was born in Florianópolis, Brazil, under the sign of Leo, to my parents Enrique and Luisa. I spent my first year of life in Paris, then returned to Brazil for two years before, at the age of four, my family moved to the United States. As the son of a former Formula 1 driver, I’ve always felt a special connection to the world of motorsports.

When I was 7, my father, drawing from his professional experience, tried to get me into karting, knowing how important it is to start young for anyone who dreams of a racing career.

At that time, though, I chose to pursue other sports. I started horseback riding at age 7.

At 9 I started playing ice-hockey as defense for the Anaheim Junior Ducks, winning the California State Championship with my team.

Golf also played a role in my development, teaching me patience and focus.

At 12, as hockey became more physical, my father brought me back to karting, and it was then that I knew this would be my path.

In 2023 I got my first kart and I began competing at club circuits in California, then moved on to national races across the United States, eventually placing fourth in the Italian finals of the Rotax single-brand championship.

In 2024, after moving to Europe, I joined Dino Chiesa’s Kart Republic team, racing in high-level competitions like WSK, the Italian, European, and World championships, always with the goal of improving and reaching new height.

2025 marked my move to the Prema Team and the beginning of a new phase in my journey. In the first part of the season, I focused on my karting commitments, taking part in major international events such as the WSK, Champions of the Future, and the FIA European Championship

In the second half of the year, I dedicated myself to preparing for my Formula 4 debut, completing several test days with the Prema Team, with whom I will soon make my first appearance in single-seaters.
